iPhone stops recording a videos when I receive a notification

I don’t understand why this has been happening... it’s been some time now that if I receive a notification while recording a video (with the camera app) the video will stop recording, giving priority to the notification.

that started happening out of nowhere but only with some of the notifications - I don’t know the criteria - and I’ve tried everything in the settings but can’t find a solution. I just want it to continue recording like before.

my iOS is 14.3
