Siri Remote stopped volume control of my receiver after 16 Aug 2021 (new firmware update?). Unable to re-establish volume control.

Did you verify the current Volume Control settings? A settings inconsistency may have inadvertently reset some things back to default.

The last tvOS update was released July 19, so that shouldn’t bring new symptoms a month later.
