White/Static Noise on Beats Studio Buds Transparency and ANC Modes

I'll get straight to the point. After using by brand new Beats Studio Buds for 3 days, I've become increasingly aware of this "white noise" sound whenever I'm in either transparency or ANC mode. The effect is far more pronounced on the transparency mode. When I have the buds in the default mode (labeled "off"), the white noise disappears.

I've tried the different modes on the Airpod Pros and I did not observe this white noise effect. In fact, it's completely silent. I've tried resetting the earbuds (holding the button in case until it flashes red) to no avail. The earbuds have been paired to all sorts of devices from Windows to Mac, from iPhone to Android and the Beats Studio Buds have the white noise on all the devices I've tried.

Has anyone else noticed this? And if so, how can I remove the white/static noise?

Hi efhdvyf,

We'd like to help you find the best direction for a solution for your new Beats. It does sound like you have isolated this to the headphones, and we would like to see if updating the firmware would help offer a solution. You can see how to do this here: Update the firmware of your Beats product. With your isolation of the issue, and if the firmware does not help, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support for service options. You can use the link below, if needed.
