My @mac.com emails being treated as spam e.g. in gmail

I have had my @mac.com email address for many years. I am now finding that it is being treated as spam by gmail. I suspect that other recipients are treating it as spam based on some tests I have tried. I even tried using my other @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com aliases and they went to spam too. Any suggestions as to how to fix this please?

Thanks very much. However, I have read through these documents and they seem to focus on actions relating to the domain. Given that mac, me & iCloud domains are Apple's, there seems to be little action that I can take. If I am wrong, what can I do as person who is not sending bulk emails?

I see from this web site that this problem could have been caused by Apple : https://www.cakemail.com/blog/apple-updates-dmarc-warning-for-senders/

I use Apple Mail on phone and computer so what can I do to stop this issue? On further testing, I am finding some of my emails from the Apple domain ending up in a gmail Archive mailbox as unread!

You can delete the accounts and once again configure , the account when set up will go to default settings and when configured the mails will again start syncing .

  • Take back up of all mails in V 7 folder

Click on finder take cursor on top menu bar > Go and hold option key click on > library > select mail folder > right click on mail folder there itself > click on copy mail > right click on the desktop > click on paste item .

Entire mails are copied to V 7 folder and will get saved on the desktop .

See the thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8517158

If you don't remember the code , overwrite it will be required to set up gmail account , when mail accounts are once again configured .

Then delete the accounts Add or remove email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Note : saving mails in V7 folder is just for security , not a single mail will be lost if any thing goes wrong , applicable for POP / IMAP accounts .

I kept holding down the option key and it crashed Finder twice. I then held it down until the Library folder expanded and then I waded through all the files revealed. There was no Mail folder.

Thanks for trying to help but I think this is wasting your time and mine. I will just have to stop using my .mac .me and .icloud email accounts for sending emails.
