I am planning to buy an apple watch with cellular. I will connect it with my private number. My question is that can I pair my apple watch with work phone and receveive phone calls from both numbers if I leave my prive phone at home? Thanks

No,the watch uses the number of whichever phone it's paired with.

In this case you will receive calls from your work phone.
