ipod Nano 7th gen: Black display screen

Hi I have an ipod nano 7th gen. The screen is black and I originally thought it was a battery issue. I connected it to itune and itune recognizes the unit and shows full battery for the unit and that all existing playlists are in tact. The screen is still black though, so i can not use it. please advise on how to restore/fix issue

Hi there, elinleung! I’m also new to my old iPod nano 7th generation… but if yours keeps showing the apple logo… you can try to enter DIAGNOSTICS MODE… Step 1: power off iPod nano completely and then back on again OR try pushing the following buttons all at once: POWER ON/OFF BUTTON ( TOP RIGHT BUTTON ), HOME BUTTON ( ROUND BUTTON BELOW THE TOUCHSCREEN ), VOLUME + AND VOLUME- BUTTONS ( TOGETHER ). this will hard restart your device
