Widget icon size

How do I restore a widget icon on the home screen to normal size after I have inadvertently zoomed it (to about 4x normal size)? I've seen "double-tap with three fingers" but a) my fingers are too big to get 3 of them on to the icon, and b) when I try it it opens the widget.

You could take a screenshot and post it if you like..

Did you just add a widget and decide that you don't like that size?

A small widget takes up the space of 4 normal app icons, square shaped

A medium widget takes up the space of 8 app icons and is rectangular across the width of your screen.

Both of these sizes are shown in the link above for using widgets

If you either want to remove the widget or change to a different size, you can tap and hold on the widget, should get a menu pop up. If you want to remove the widget, select 'Remove Widget/Stack'.. and you'll be done

OR if you want to switch to a different widget size, select 'Edit Home Screen', everything will start wiggling, tap the minus sign in the upper left part of the widget.. Then once it's gone, tap the + in the upper left of your Home Screen and add a different widget.

is your whole Home Screen in a 'zoomed' state?

The double tap with 3 fingers is to cancel or toggle the Accessibility feature Zoom..

So if your entire screen is zoomed, not necessarily just your widget, the 3 finger tap does not have to be on an app icon, it would just be a 3 finger tap anywhere on the display.

I hope that's your issue because I don't think you can modify a widget size, you'd have to create a new widget at the larger size.
