Music on iMovie that is posted to Facebook

Music that has a copyright works fine for personal use in iMovie. But if posting to Facebook, they will Mute or Partially Mute the audio. The simple answer is to change the audio of the movie to avoid copyright protected songs.

Does anyone have suggestions on a 3rd party service that manages individual song licenses that would satisfy the Facebook policies so I can upload to Facebook easily?

I don't know of any such service that would manage copyrighted songs to comply with Facebook. I doubt if any such services exist, but if anyone on this forum knows of any hopefully they will chime in here.

Copyrights are owned by the artist or by the artist's licensee. One would need to negotiate with them for an exception.

As you say, the simple answer is to substitute a different audio.
