Bluetooth turning off new device connection

How do I turn off the feature where my Bluetooth could connect to new devices without turning my Bluetooth off to the devices I’ve allowed to connect?

Hi Curioustomato,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you'd like to prevent Bluetooth connections without disabling Bluetooth all together. In order to pair a Bluetooth device, you would need to choose that device in Settings > Bluetooth to connect. If you disable Bluetooth, you won't have the option to connect any Bluetooth devices you've connected before. Your iPhone won't automatically connect to any Bluetooth devices without your input. You can learn more here: Connect Bluetooth devices to iPhone

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
