How do I retrieve my photos connected to an old email address that won’t allow me to log into because I forgot my password

All you need to do is log into your account using your Apple ID and password. Your Yahoo account isn't involved unless you omitted to provide us with a critical piece of information such as you forgot your account password and are trying to reset it.

I forgot my yahoo account password and therefore am locked out and have not been able to log in and retrieve my photos connected to that account. Years of photos I need and still want. What can I do to retrieve them?
