IPhone Contact Card

Hi

i received a new work phone, iPhone XR. I sent several contacts my “contact card” but it won’t save on their phones. It happened to several people and even when I tried it on my personal phone.

I do not have my Apple ID email in the contact card as I had to set up my apple is work phone with a non work email.

thanks for the help!

My company does not allow my company email address to be used for an Apple ID. So I had to set up an iCloud email address for this work phone. I don’t want people to save it and automatically send emails to this iCloud address. In the settings it has the iCloud email address as my Apple ID and also reachable the phone number and my work email. Any thoughts on how to not include the Apple ID in the contact? I don’t need an Apple ID for anyone else?

This certainly has absolutely nothing to do with the issue, as the Apple Store contact I showed in the screenshots above simply contains “Apple Store” as the company name, and an address and telephone number and no other fields. It has no Apple ID, and, for that matter, no email address.

Perhaps the new contact does get saved, but someplace you’re not expecting, as might happen if the last name (sort key) is improperly recognized.
