Iphone 12 - Flickering Video on 60fps

Hi!


I have this problem with my Iphone 12 when taking video on 60fps - the flickering is very visible during taking the video and the video results show the same thing. I have compared it with the video's on my iPhone X and iPhone X doesn't have this issue.


I noticed that this happens while recording video on HD (or 4K) at 60 FPS, if you switch to 30 FPS this doesn't happen.


Anyone else that has this problem? Can Apple solve this issue as soon as possible please? I haven't searched in the internet and found no fix. Cheers!

I am trying to take a video of my room so I cannot take the video under bright sunlight. And the lighting source in my room is ok (the bulbs are not flickering). So it’s definitely the phone software.


(The video looks totally fine if I am taking the video outside under bright sunlight).

This flickering issue could be because the frequency of light source is disturbing your camera that’s why when you change the frame rate, the flickering stops.


This is a general issue with all kinds of cameras and changing the light source or the fps of the camera usually resolves the problem.

Hi thank you for your reply. It's unfortunate that this flickering keeps happening. I hope Apple can give some automation on camera software to avoid this - instead of changing the frame rate - as video always better with higher fps (in this case 60 fps). Cheers!
