Keyboard light issues

Hi all!

I've updated my MBP 2019 from MacOS Big Sur 11.5.1 to 11.5.2, it's totally fine until I can't turn on, adjust my keyboard light. After that, I restarted my MBP. When it requires a password to turn on, the keyboard light is still on, but when my MBP is already on, the keyboard light disappears again. Can you show me how to fix it?

Thanks a lot!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

Hey there!

Try changing the preferences and see if you have enabled Automatically adjust backlight.

If that doesn't work, try resetting SMC and NVRAM.

If that also does not work then contact Apple Support who might suggest service or removing plists if required.

Cheers!
