reduce memory on chrome at Mojave

Hallo

I try to figure out about how to manage chrome become more low memory, after I read this https://android62.com/cara-mengurangi-penggunaan-ram-pada-google-chrome/

But, I don't know with this button -> MAC : “Windows Menu”, what should I do what the meaning of Windows Menu?

still wondering if Click “Enable” on “Enable Tab Discarding”, I did't found this.

Maybe there any way to reduce memory with the chrome on mojave?

You would close Windows or Tabs in Chrome.

I use a Chrome offshoot that uses less memory per window or tab than Chrome does, it's Chrome without google & without Ads...

what you need to know is that Chrome is a resource hog - it will use all of the RAM you have and want more. You cannot change that - you would need to talk to Google about that because it is their product.

And you are trying to run a computer with a newer OS on minimal RAM - the newer OS versions prefer a minimum of 8 GB of RAM - 16 is better especially with using Chrome. You are doing it with only 4 GB.

And iCloud storage has nothing to do with your laptop.

Hallo

I try again with the safe mode and yippy, my mac not borrow big memory but small what, why this happen, and if I go to booting normal can be like that, I try maximal to open adobe reader, chrome, word... I hope it can be okay at booting normal.

btw I turn of icloud for now maybe to big the size is 200 GB and my storage just 128, still wonder is it relation or not.

also when I try isolate when disable wifi, then I turn off suddenly I see very rapid there a proces name systemmigrationd what is that..., but I hope this normal process.

Hallo

Yeh, iCloud doesn't relation for this, I just try the best to isolate the problem what is the cause.

After almost 8 hours, I try on safe mode. the problem show up when I open file powerpoint with 26 MB my ppt is error reporting. Okay, according the artcile I read when you still have problem on safe mode, there is now ay out just install your Mac? isn't true
