How can I get Siri to understand me better?

Siri is getting worse and worse at understanding what I’m saying. And in my current condition with my body arthritic as it is I depend on this voice recognition to send my text and I can’t use it. The only way you get everything right is if I speak extremely slowly and scream at it which is not very convenient and people look at me like I’m crazy. How can I get Siri to understand me better and send everything correctly? Alexa does not have this issue. Google does not have this issue. But I’m an Apple person. I need Siri to work. Otherwise I have about $20,000 in product that I can’t use Siri with.
