It sounds like you have a concern with your messages appearing on your girlfriend's iPhone.
FaceTime and iMessage allow you to send and receive messages from multiple phone numbers and email addresses that are associated with a single Apple ID. Make sure that your iPhone has only your Apple ID and phone number listed in the settings for Messages, and that your girlfriend's Apple ID or phone number is not listed.
