Support iPad and Macbook M1
I wish to buy an iPad but need to know how can I use it or can I use iPad Pro 4th Generation like external display for my Macbook M1?

The answer is a YES. You would use the iPad Pro with your M1 MacBook (Air or Pro) as an external display by using the macOS built in feature called ➔ SideCar. I have to add that this feature works really well.
