With this new update, I can no longer search more recent emails. I search and find emails from 2019 but no emails that I've sent 2 weeks ago. What's the fix on this?

Try rebuilding the Mailbox. Select the mailbox that it doesn't search and select "Rebuild" from the Mailbox menu.
When it scans the raw messages, it displays a message saying it is "downloading messages." I can't figure out why it does that. It may be checking the server to confirm they are on the server.

Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and check again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;
• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed
• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)
• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically
• Disables user-installed fonts
• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
It's like it's not doing anything. The "rebuild" doesn't seem to be rebuilding anything. And it's not finding the search in any of my mailboxes. I've got 3 that it should be searching.
There's no message in the lower, left corner of the window?
I'm not sure why it doesn't do anything.
No message. I've removed an account and now adding them back. Hoping this works..
removing the account has helped with the search. I can find emails with something like "greekcorner" but then all the search results disappear when I add ".com."
