Hi everybody,

Please help me!

My machine, after updating to Big Sur 11.5.2, crashed.

I have used this method and this method but both get error 4005

Gave up waiting for device to transition from RestoreOS state to BootedOS State. [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFA5 (4005)]

Now my computer cannot turn on.

Do you have any other suggestions to help me?

Thanks

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

Two Things:

A. Reinstall the macOS:

Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Important: First, Back Up your Mac:

Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a backup of your Mac, prior to making any major changes to it (i.e. update installation)

B. As for Power:

Try a New Charger:

If it is charging from an external device, then use a new charger:
