I have 2 Asus monitors connected to my macbook pro. They are currently mirroring each other. How can I set them up to be independent monitors that show different screens?

To Set up the displays as an extended desktop:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Arrangement.
Click Arrangement, then unselect Mirror Displays.
