How do I turn on my MacBook Pro
Where do I actually turn on my MacBook Pro??? It always does it itself ...?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Which exact model is your MacBook Pro? The newer ones have their power "button" in the upper right-hand side of the topmost key row. Older models have them as a physically button in the upper right-hand corner as well.

Yes this is a "feature"—
You can try to disable auto boot when you open the lid but not when you touch any key.
Touchbar disable your Mac's Auto Boot feature. Auto Boot powers on your Mac when you open the lid, or plugging in the charger. have not tested if it disables power on from any button
From Terminal.app copy and paste:
sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00
you can submit your Apple Feedback http://www.apple.com/feedback
If you are trying to clean your keyboard the best way I have found under the current conditions when Logged in—
Control Command Q
this will lock the screen and not register random key input , no harm no foul.
You should only have to press it momentarily, not hold it down. Again, it would help if you let us know which exact model your notebook is ... or, at least, provide us with a photo of its keyboard.
Found a darkened square and held it. 🤷🏻♀️
