Saved passwords disappeared

I have iOS 14.7.1 update on my iPhone 11. My passwords have disappeared in from the "Passwords" in Settings. I have tried turning off Keychain, turning off iPhone, then turning iPhone back on, then turning on Keychain again. I also tried turning off "Autofill" under Passwords. I also have a iPad Air, and I simultaneously did the same procedures, still no success. Can anyone help me???

Thank you for replying to me. Yes, I updated both my iPhone and my iPad when the last update became available. All my passwords were on both my iPad and my iPhone a week ago, then all of a sudden they were gone. I did not turn keychain off on either one. One day the passwords were gone. I have already tried everything that was suggested in that link, and nothing helped. I don’t have a Mac so that cannot be the source of it either. I am totally stumped!

Thanks again for your continued help. I did not turn off the keychain until after the passwords had disappeared. That was one of the solutions suggested online. I turned off the keychain turned off the iPhone turned the iPhone back on and then turn the key chain back on. I then did the same thing on my iPad. I did not do anything before I lost my passwords.

Hi m-c-b-m,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. You've mentioned that you're unable to view your saved passwords any longer. Are both your iPhone and iPad running the latest OS versions? You can view this in Settings > General > Software Update. Take a look at the following link.

If iCloud Keychain won't turn on or sync

Kind regards.

m-c-b-m,

Thanks for providing those details. When you turned off iCloud Keychain on your devices, did you choose to delete all your items locally on your device? If so, you'll need to set up iCloud Keychain again and add those again. In the section of the article titled, "If you don't see your iCloud Keychain items", did any of those scenarios apply to you? If not, please connect with Apple at Get Support for additional assistance regarding this matter.

Have a great day.
