Calibrating Color on MacBook Air

Hello!

I was using my new MacBook the other day when suddenly the colors shifted and looked washed out. They remained that way despite calibrating the computer several different times as well as restarting it. I have tried calibrating it myself under the expert mode but it still has not completely gone back to normal. Images are tinted blue and green and other images are oversaturated and dark. Is there any way to reset it back to the default color scheme? Thank you!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.3

Where that may not have been suitable to attempt to correct an underlying issue

you could try troubleshooting by use of startup in Safe mode. ~ Instructions here

are for either new M1 Apple silicon SoC, or with older Intel-based Mac.
