Weird Colorful Vertical Lines on MacBook Pro 2019

Hi,

I just opened my MacBook Pro 2019 13" and found that my entire screen had vertical lines covering the display. I had no idea what was going on so I ended up restarting the laptop by pressing and holding the power button. After I turned it back on, the screen was back to normal and those vertical lines that were all over my screen were gone. I was just wondering if anyone knows what might have caused this? It was a super random occurrence and has never happened to me before (I have had this device for about 2 years now). I contacted apple support and they told me to keep my device up to date and that there might have been an issue with the start up which could be solved by a simple restart or an update to the device. I just wanted to know if there were any other causes, just so I am aware since I am afraid for anything to happen to this laptop since I heavily use it for school and I'm afraid the screen might just randomly become like that again. Thanks!
