Using lens solution to clean your MacBook Pro screen

I cleaned my MacBook Pro screen with fibre cloth with one of its end dipped in my contact lens solution. I started seeing some patches on my screen and then I immediately cleaned the screen with a dry cloth, the patches went away. Should I be worried?

Cleaned MacBook Air with and sanitiser I've literally had my Macbook air 2019 for a few days and noticed that there were so many finger prints on the screen, out of habit I put some hand sanitiser on a tissue and started rubbing the screen, then noticed that nothing was happening, so then I wet a tissue with water and cleaned the screen. I'm not sure if I have damaged my screen by using hand sanitiser on it that was 70% ethanol, I didn't put much on the tissue I used but I also don't know if my screen is affected as I had only had it for one day before I cleaned it, I didn't know that MacBook screens are different to other laptops so you can't clean them like that. how can I tell if my screen is damaged?

Can I use Specsavers lens cleaner and cleaning cloth to clean my macbook air screen? So I'm not sure how to clean my Macbook air screen, as I've got it in January and the screen has some spots on it and I was thinking if i could use glasses lens cleaner spray and cleaning cloth and what would be the steps to do this correctly, as I don't want to ruin my £ 1700 Macbook Air :(

Screen Protector, yes, no, Never!? Hi all, I just got the Macbook Pro 14inch. With the liquid retina xdr display. I've seen conflicting opinions on screen protectors. Considering the 14inch MacBooks have the new XDR display, are there more things to consider? I usually wouldn't care about screen protectors and even a case. I am very careful with my devices and take good care of them. I am not worried about fingerprints and smudges. I would never need to touch the screen. However, the city where I live is generally too dusty. As a music producer, I might take it on the field too. It takes a couple of hours for dust to appear on the screen. So even if I buy the Apple polishing cloth, I'd have to wipe it, at times with the recommended 70% alcohol solution at least once per week. I've also heard that cleaning it too often might result in problems as well, like the coating coming off and possibly staingate?
