why cant i sign in to icloud.

I am trying to set a new 16” MacBook Pro but when it gets to connecting to iCloud I get “ Unable to store credential due to error - 25308 Requested By: accounted”. What does this mean?

We understand that you are getting an error message when trying to connect to iCloud. The error you mentioned usually means local network issues are affecting the connection to Apple's servers. This can be helped using the steps "How to start up from macOS Recovery" in this article: Use macOS Recovery on an Intel-based Mac
