Safari is an integral part of macOS and iOS, and as such cannot be updated separately. If you regularly run available updates on your Mac and iPhone then you will always have the latest version of Safari! Hope this helps you! Regards, Ian.

I second Ian's answer. It is 100% accurate. If there are no updates available, that means that your system is currently up to date. To explain further, It is important to understand the difference between updates and upgrades. An update is is when we install a newer version of the same operating system. It will be found in the System Preferences by clicking the Software Update button. If you already have the latest version installed, you will be notified that no update is available. An upgrade is when you install a newer operating system such as upgrading from Catalina to Big Sur. What you can install is dependent on the year and model Mac you have. Upgrades may be found in the Apple App Store. Or you can click on the links below. You should only use Safari for these downloads, never Firefox.I hope this information is helpful in clearing up any confusion.
Some upgrade links: High Sierra, Catalina, or Big Sur
Not helpful? Really? You don't know what you're talking about. I gave you a succinct, correct and above all POLITE answer to your question. I don't know what your problem is, but go and sort things out for yourself and learn some manners before replying to a posting in future.
This answer is not responsive to the question posed - not helpful.
It's not helpful because there are NO updates available to the OS. Your post is proposing a solution which does not exist.
