iPhone 11 GPS Issues
Greetings Apple community.
I would love to share my frustration with you and maybe get some answers. Recently, I've been dealing with an annoying GPS issue, I'll try to be as brief as possible.
For the past month I am trying to figure out a solution to my problem with Apple. There's a support ticket, and I've been talking to customer care representatives almost daily.
For some reason, when I get in my car and drive and set a destination to my GPS, it just doesn't work right. It updates way too slow, for example it asks me to take a left turn in 200 meters, and then a right turn in another 100 meters. When I do as it says, the blip shows that I haven't even taken the first turn. I don't know if that makes sense.
It updates really slowly, and I've actually crashed my car a few days ago because of it. I've moved to a new location recently, and I don't know the streets, and my GPS literally caused me to crash and wreck my vehicle which I've fixed after paying 1,5 grand for it.
In addition to the slow updating issues, it almost never re-routes. If I take a wrong turn for any reason, and I usually do almost always because it updates so slow and I get confused about where I am, it wont even re route. It tries to, and it takes even a minute to re route, and sometimes it doesn't at all until I literally restart my entire device.
Restarting it doesn't fix it, because after opening Apple maps and setting my destination, the same thing happens. I literally can't use my GPS because it wont work correctly and it is dangerous, and I don't know how to navigate because I moved to a new city recently that I don't know at all.
I'd like your thoughts and opinions on this, I've tried everything with Apple support, resetting my phone, tried it with iTunes, reinstall the whole software, they even told me not to roll on a back up, because if it was a software issue I'd practically roll back to it, so I had to re-install all of my apps manually after the reset, and I even lost some data.
I've have taken my iPhone to an authorized service shop, they said that it passed Apple's diagnostics and they didn't find a thing, they don't know whether it's a hardware issue or a software issue, they've also escalated to a superior department which they've told me that it could even take a month for them to reply, and they might not even find a solution for it.
I've literally tried everything they told me, I even crashed my car for that stupid phone, and I haven't been able to find a solution to it, and neither has Apple. I've been trying to get them to completely replace my device and they haven't been able to do that either.
I'm literally lost, I tried everything, I've also sent them couple of videos that I could upload here for you to see if you would like. The videos basically display how stupid my GPS is and that it doesn't work.
I need your opinion and your help, maybe a suggestion, something that could help me diagnose the issue or even fix it, because as it seems Apple can't figure out what's wrong, even though they practically admitted that they're seeing the problem, as it's clearly visible in the videos I've uploaded on my support case.
They also told me to download a profile and collect data from my GPS as it is being used, system diagnostics, they haven't found anything, and I'm sitting here suffering and not being able to drive around because I'm afraid I'll get lost.
