Cant set password on my iPad only for my gmail acct, which is my Apple ID! I keep getting a message saying that my Gmail account wants to use Google.com and share my info! My Gmail is fine on my iPhone!

Clarification question - are you trying to set the password for using the Gmail address as email address to receive emails or set the Apple ID password for the account?
Trying to reset the pw on my Gmail account on my iPad. I had changed my pw for my Apple ID (which is my Gmail address) on my iphone
And I had used the same pw fir both
Gmail is same as my Apple ID, but I can’t sign in
