How do I remove the Airdrop notification sound?

How do I remove the Airdrop notification sound? Sometimes I need to airdrop/download an image or video to an iMac that is being used in another live application and whose sound is being played through a sound system. I can remove the sound notification from every app except Airdrop, which is the quickest way to deliver the needed info. If I use Airdrop, a loud notification sound is heard by all in the auditorium and everyone looks back to see what's going on. I can send it via email, text, USB drive, SD card, etc. with no sound notification. But the fastest way to deliver the info is Airdrop. If you know how to remove the notification sound please share your knowledge!. This only happens when there's a last minute request for media to be shown. Though I can find work arounds, a simpler solution is desired. Thanks in advance!

Apple menu  > System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects. Uncheck the box for "Play user interface sound effects".

This will turn off the sound effect for AirDrop, but it will probably also silence other sounds like the Notifications alerts (though I haven't checked on that)..

It won't mute the Mac so videos and other audio should be unaffected.. And when you're done with your presentations, just check mark the box to re-enable sound effects.
