Hello ~ Your question has been answered in the article you came from. Here is more info provided in a prior post by *destiny 241* a Community Specialist here in this forum:

1. Check for updates, back up and get up to date, if needed: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
2. If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro
3. Ensure the ring/silent switch is set to ring, not silent.
4. Any restrictions set up on this device? Check in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If so, disable these restrictions, restart the iPhone and test out the issue.
5. Restart the iPhone
6. Attempt to complete Face ID enrollment continuously for at least a full minute in a well lit environment.
