How to retrieve messages deleted in error

We understand that you’re looking at ways to recover deleted messages and reviewed Use Messages in iCloud for assistance. 

If your messages are syncing with iCloud, then they are not able to be recovered. If your messages are not syncing with iCloud and you have a backup that was made when the messages existed on your device, you can restore your device from the backup. Keep in mind, any data added to your device between the time the backup was made and present will be erased.
