The yellow triangle states "You cannot change this item because it's managed by your system administrator".
But I am the administrator.
How can I remove this "login item"? What is it? I suspect it tries to mount a network drive since it takes a while to log in and it complains "There was a problem connecting to the server..."
But I can't figure out when or where it tries to mount it.
Any ideas?
Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and try to delete its from there. Then reboot normally.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;
• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed
• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)
• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically
• Disables user-installed fonts
• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

Then the Mac is managed by the company. Whoever setup the configuration for Macs did it wrong. Tell them to fix it.
Maybe try booting into Safe Mode and see if you can remove it there.
Do you have any Profiles in System Preferences or do you know if that Mac is managed by a company or school?
If you select your user in Users & Groups System Preferences. Is "Allow this user to administer the computer" checked.
Thanks for the reply. There are no profiles. The Mac is not managed by a company (I did set it up myself) but it's registered in the company's Active Directory. Yes, my user is allowed to administer the computer.
