Was browsing pornhub. When I got a message saying your iPhone has virus 75% of your iPhone has the virus press the button below to continue I did. Then it took me to this website called deviaput.com the. The website took me to a app to fix the virus please help. Is this a scam to get my info

Yeah, that’s an advertisement.


Don’t click on those.


That clicking only gets you more interesting to the advertisers and scammers.


And makes your info more interesting for future targeting.


Same for unsubscribing from spam email. Don’t.

Yes, the advertisement lied. They do that. Why? Because misleading and lying works.


People get curious or fearful or angry, and… do what the advertiser wants.
