QR Code Detected. No useable data found

I have an iPhone 12 with iOS 14.7.1 (the "iOS is up to date") and am trying to use the camera to scan QR codes from a computer screen. I get the message "No useable data found". Other iPhones can read the same QR code, but for some reason mine can't. I've enabled the camera to scan QR codes, reset all settings and powered off. But for some reason it isn't working. Can you help me please?

Hi ssdct,

It seems you're having trouble scanning a QR code and we can help.

Try taking the steps for when your camera is not working as expected:

If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working

Inspect the lens for your iPhone and take some pictures in a bright area and inspect them carefully, it's possible your iPhone has an issue with debris or an anomaly on the lens that's interfering with reading the QR code correctly.

Let us know if that helps.
