Incompatibility:
So, what does the original packing read? Does it read if it is compatible with Bg Sur (macOS 11)? If not, then it likely will not work.
Plug & Play:
Be connected to the internet when plugging this in. That way, drivers will be installed.
Boot with this Plugged in:
Shut Down your Mac > unplug this > way 30 seconds > plugin the mouse > boot up, seeing if it works.
