When a suspected spam calls reaches my iPhone what message to they receive?

I've received a lot of 'possible spam' phone calls in last few days on my iPhone 8 Plus. I added 'suspected spam' to my contact list when I got this phone a few years back. Two days ago, I started receiving several 'suspected spam' calls one after the other on my iPhone. I don't answer them. When I opened 'suspected spam' listed under Contacts, I saw several numbers that say 'flagged by Mr. Number'. HOW DO I GET THESE CALLS TO STOP?

Phones displaying suspected spam calls when number isn't saved Has anyone come across an issue where someone is calling others who doesn't have their number saved & it's coming up with a suspected Spam call? When calling phones that have his number saved it comes up as the contact name as normal. Calling from an iPhone 13.

None. Scam calls are not automatically detected or blocked.

If you don't answer then they just hear the ringing but no answer.

If you do answer they get you.

If you block the number, then they still hear the ringing on their side, but you get no call.
