has anyone had any problems with Apple Watch screen being pushed out by expanding battery

That problem has indeed been reported before. At that point the battery needs to be replaced (at least). For repair & service:

Can anyone tell me if they have been successful in getting Apple to repair the watch free of charge? It is design fault, a defect in manufacturing, so it's their responsibility to fix it foc.
