Left airpod is blinking red. What does this mean?

Hello, my left airpod is blinking red and I'm not sure what this means. It's fully charged as I just put it to charge for 2+ hours. To give some context, I bought a replacement airpod for my case as I lost the right one and in trying to reset and replace both to connect to my iphone the left one started blinking. I'm not sure what to do now I've tried resetting to factory settings but it's not allowing me continues to blink red. Can someone please advise me what to do? Something perhaps that helped them.

Thanks a lot!

Here's a picture down below for reference to the situation:

Hi nabila178,

We understand you're having an issue with the left side of your AirPods. The following page offers troubleshooting steps that may help: If your left or right AirPod isn't working

You mentioned you replaced your Right AirPod. Did you receive that replacement from Apple directly, or from a third-party reseller? When you received your replacement AirPod, did you run through the steps here: Set up your replacement AirPods or charging case

Find the model number of both AirPods and let us know what they are: Identify your AirPods. We want to make sure your model AirPods are a matching pair.

When attempting to pair, do you see a "Connection Failed" alert on your iOS device?

Cheers!
