This is probably the wrong forum but I don’t see a forum on Apple Card so here goes:
Does anyone know if there a planned date for Apple Card to offer balance transfers from other CCs? It seems like Goldman Sachs would want balance transfers onto their books. All other CCs do. Seems like an opportunity for them to profit while folks consolidate their CC balances.
Hi, great question, but unfortunately no one here will know. This is a user to user community hosted by Apple, but neither Apple or Goldman Sachs are here.
This is the Apple Card community so you posted in the correct community. I really doubt Goldman will offer a balance transfer option. Generally, the major consumer credit card issuers have a dedicated balance transfer card. An example would be the Citibank Simplicity card.
The Apple Card offers numerous cash back options instead of zero or low interest rates on multi month balance transfers.
The Apple Card is Goldman Sachs first consumer credit card and they may certainly offer additional credit solutions/products in the future but I’d be surprised if they were Apple branded.
