Is it possible to pair a GPS Apple Watch with a iPhone on a virtual network without loosing functionality? Is there anything I won’t be able to do? Utility Warehouse uses EE network.

I think with more digging I’ve found that if you are just pairing a non-cellular apple watch to a iPhone and keeping the iPhone close at all times then it doesn’t matter what network the iPhone is using? Can any one confirm that this is correct? Or not?
Yes that is correct,any network that the phone can use the watch can use as well,as you pointed out you just have to have your phone with you.
