how do I use Airplay on Macbook Air to stream to my Smart TV? My tv always comes up with a screen asking me to scan a QR code but the McBook only has a front camera. Can I use this successfully? Thank you.

Hello Tieza,

Have you checked to make sure your Smart TV is AirPlay 2 capable? iOS - Home Accessories - Apple. (Not just iOS)

This Apple Support article shows the full requirements. AirPlay system requirements - Apple Support

If possible, this shows the instructions to AirPlay. Stream audio and video from your Mac with AirPlay - Apple Support

If not, this discusses wired options. Use your TV as a display with Mac - Apple Support

I hope this helps.
