macOs 11.5.2 battery draining problem.

After updating to macOS 11.5.2 my MacBook pro's battery drains faster even though my battery health is 100%. I used to charge the device once for two days but after updating I have to update it every day. is this a common issue? what can I do to fix this?

"I bought this brand new macbook pro about 2 months ago so there can't be an issue with the power adapter or with the charging cable."

Warranty Coverage:

Well it's a thought. And if it is a new purchase, Apple would likely cover it under warranty, if found to be a faulty device. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with it. So, contact Apple, seeing what your options are for hardware coverage.

Contact Apple Support:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
