Kindly assist me, my phone has been saying it’s verifying update since midnight. I can’t unlock it or do anything on it. I don’t know how it was updating because I did not have WiFi to update. I’m really confused and stressed as I cannot use the phone at all

This is what appears. When I do the above steps Siri just talks and says something went wrong but phone doesn’t restart.
Do these steps also apply to the iPhone 11 Pro Max because once I touch the side button Siri starts talking.
