Touch Bar

My Touch Bar Agent is not on my macbook, I've tried everything but I can't get it to work.

I've tried restarting the NVRAM and when i opened my laptop, it worked for a few minutes, but the icons weren't showing, and when i tried to fix that issue, it stopped working altogether and my touch bar agent was gone again from activity monitor and in the finder.

What should I do next?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

If in the Intel Mac—

if you tried both—

resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

and resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

and no resolve, you have a hardware issue.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
