My iPad only charges when off
I have restarted my iPad and cleaned the charging port but my iPad only charged when switched off and it only works with one charger that is not the apple charger

Try and Force restart iPad
Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button and keep it pressed until Apple logo appears, release the button.

If you are still unsuccessful getting your iPad to charge then have it examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and resolution.
