How do I send hyperlinks in iMessage
For email I’m able to go to pages create a hyperlink and then copy paste but the same doesn’t work for a imessage
it’ll be very useful when the link is very long , so I want to choose a display text and make it as a hyperlink

Interesting thought however you cannot send hyperlinks in the text messages at this time. You would have to send the entire link in the message and most often the Messages app will convert that to a preview of the link.
I believe that part of the reason why hyperlinks cannot sent via text messages is because that will increase text scams/spam by scammers disguising scam links within normal text.

Not sure if you got this. It is not about cutting and pasting from web pages. I was talking about how we can have our own descriptive short display text and apply the hyperlink to the actual long url. This will be more user friendly. The email app does not allow to do as well but the hack there is to use our “pages” app , create link and copy paste to email and it works. But the same technique does not work for sms text. It will be a nice feature to ask for. I also kind of agree with earlier reply by Axel that it could be a security issue.

You need to copy and paste it. So, if the URL is long, then know that all that is shown is the title of the site.
