App download

When I go to download apps onto my phone they directly go to the App Library. How do I change that -land stop that from happening so they appear on my Home Screen?

Open Settings ➔ Home Screen ➔ Newly Downloaded Apps ➔ Add to Home Screen: Put a checkmark next to it.

Can you stop apps from showing up in App Library completely? So I just downloaded the new iOS 14 and it’s pretty good, but there’s one feature in the App Library which shows all your newest apps and I recently downloaded an app that I’m a little embarrassed about. It’s already hidden on my home page but this new App Library has screwed it all up. Is there any way to stop recently downloaded apps from showing up in App Library?
