If MacOS detects something, it shuts it off.
Only scammers provide "warnings" in pop-ups, to scare you into sending them money (possibly by buying an extra-large snake-oil).
-OR- to call a number for "Help" that is NOT Apple Support!

What makes you suspect it is "hacked"?
Accidentally I clicked a scam email link and the popup appeared for suspected phishing site. Immediately I closed the link but just worried...
The scam email can't do anything on its own. If you responded to the popup by providing personal or financial information then your security is compromised.
Pop up from Mac security I believe after entering the website.
