sim card

Unique issue, I see a lot of comments about the sim card not reading and while that is my issue there’s a little more to it than that. My phone will say “no sim card,” so I take out my sim card and put it back in, after a couple tries it will read again, but this keeps happening every couple hours. It will be working fine and all of the sudden the no sim card message will pop up again. Then I fix it, and soon enough it happens again.

Either you have a bad sim card, or the there is a failure brewing with the cellular radio in your phone. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. Or at a miminum, get a new sim card from your cellular provider and see if that solves this for you.
